The Centre 42 Archive of Singapore Theatre (“Archive”) is Centre 42 Limited’s (“C42”) digital archive of informational, visual, audio artefacts and texts from Singapore’s theatre history. The Archive’s electronic database stores and displays electronic copies of artefacts and photographs of artefacts, such as original manuscripts, publications, programme booklets, brochures, flyers etc. (“Electronic Copies”). The Electronic Copies are protected by copyright and their use is governed by the terms of use that C42 has agreed with the respective copyrights owners , and the terms of Fair Use for display on the Archive for research and educational purposes only. The Archive also stores and displays information and contact details of persons and organisations (“Profiles”). The Profiles are protected by the terms of submission that C42 has agreed with the respective persons and organisations. 

By accessing the Archive, you indicate your agreement to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use, please do not access the Archive. The Electronic Copies accessed via the Archive are strictly for viewing only. You shall not copy, download, save a copy of, reproduce or modify the Electronic Copies. This includes, but is not limited to, not taking screenshots, photographs or videos of the Electronic Copies. Any copies, downloads, reproductions, or modifications made, or photos or videos taken of the Electronic Copies constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions and potentially amount to an infringement of copyright. You shall destroy and/or delete any such items immediately upon request by C42. You shall not distribute, disseminate, communicate, make available, transmit or broadcast the Electronic Copies, in any manner and through any form of media whatsoever including, but not limited to, by display on the World Wide Web. You agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, intellectual property laws, in connection with your use of the Archive and the Electronic Copies. C42 reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to refuse, revoke, or limit use of the Archive by any person for any or no reason. C42 is not responsible for any use that you make of the Electronic Copies and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless C42 and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all liability, loss, claims, damages, costs, and/or actions (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Archive and/or breach of these Terms and Conditions of Use. This version of Terms and Conditions of Use became effective on January 10, 2021.
